Who we are
Metro Green, LLC completed its first LEED Platinum home in the DC region in 2008. Since then, we have completed a multitude of innovative projects in the area meeting PHIUS, Zero Energy Ready Home, Energy Star and Arlington Green Home Choice projects.
Our staff of 10 includes career carpenter/craftsmen, a master electrician, and experienced project managers. Patty Shields, founder of Metro Green, LLC is a LEED accredited professional, with more than 15 years experience in construction management.
Metro Green is a Class “A” Licensed contractor in Virginia with certifications including: USGBC LEED AP – Energy Star Partner – PHIUS pre-certified home builder – Arlington Green Home Choice Builder
